Concentric reducer rubber joint is a flexible connector used to connect pipes of different
diameters, which is mainly used in metal pipeline systems to solve
the problem of pipe connections of different diameters, and has the
function of shock absorption and noise reduction. It is composed of
a rubber sphere composed of an inner rubber layer, a nylon cord
fabric reinforcement layer and an outer rubber layer and a loose
metal flange, which has the characteristics of high elasticity,
high air tightness, medium resistance and weather resistance.
Concentric reducer rubber joint structural features
Concentric reducer rubber joints are usually composed of rubber bodies, metal flanges, bolts, and
gaskets, etc. The rubber body part adopts a concentric reducer
design, that is, the diameter of the two ends is different, one end
is a large diameter, and the other end is a small diameter, which
enables the joint to connect pipes of different diameters to
achieve smooth fluid transmission between different pipes.
Application areas of concentric reducer rubber joints
Concentric reducer rubber joints are widely used in water supply and drainage, circulating water,
HVAC, fire protection, papermaking, pharmaceutical, petrochemical,
shipbuilding, water pumps, compressors, fans and other pipeline
systems. The ordinary type is suitable for the medium of
-15°C~120°C, and the special type is suitable for the medium above
-20°C~150°C.
